(Yes, I actually want you to text me.) Therapy doesn’t stop when the session ends—your healing and growth are happening all the time. And I believe your therapist should support that. That’s why I offer between-session support via text, voice note, and email—as part of your care. For all clients. It’s not crisis support. It’s not full sessions. But it is a way to stay connected, stay accountable, and not lose momentum between sessions. This kind of ongoing, responsive support is a big part of what makes Sweary Therapy a boutique practice—and if it’s something you want, you’re in the right place. |

My response hours:
I aim to reply within 12–48 hours, though often faster during my main response windows. This is not a crisis or emergency line, and I don't respond outside of set hours. If you're in crisis, please call 911 or use a local crisis line.
Confidentiality & Contact Options
You have two options for how you want to use between-session messaging:
Either way, I’ll respond with the same warmth and care—but I want you to make an informed choice about what works best for you.
- TEXT is the best and fastest way to reach me.
- I accept both secure in-app messaging (HIPAA-compliant) or regular SMS texting.
- Voice notes are welcome, but only via SMS, not the in-app system.
- Email is slower—best used for sending forms or longer updates that don’t need a quick reply.
My response hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 10 AM–9 PM
- Some weekend availability—I’ll respond when I can unless I’m off for personal time, in which case you’ll hear from me Monday.
- If I’m on a scheduled vacation, don't worry - I let my clients know my time off well in advance so we can all plan around it! .

I can guide you through a grounding or regulation exercise to help shift your nervous system when you're overwhelmed, shut down, or spiraling.
This is a place for reminders, redirection, and cheerleading—not a full session by text. If something needs deep unpacking, I’ll invite you to schedule a session so we can give it the time and space it deserves.
Using This for Homework & Accountability
Sometimes I’ll ask you to check in between sessions—especially if we’ve set goals or agreed on homework. This might be as simple as:
