Captain of the Ship:
A Practical Introduction to Parts Work in Clinical Practice

CEUs:  2 credit hours
Format: Live Online via Zoom
Presented by:  Kristie Fuller, LMHC & Sweary Therapy
When:  Friday August 7, 2026 1100 am - 130 pm.
Cost:  $50 (introductory price)

You and your clients are already doing parts work. It's time to do it on purpose!

Every time a client says "a part of me wants to leave" or "I don't know why I keep doing this; something just takes over," they're inviting you into their internal world and using parts work.  Most therapists respond to this intuitively.

This training helps you do it intentionally, ethically, and with a framework you can actually use.

About This Training

"Captain of the Ship" is a 2-hour live online CEU training for licensed mental health professionals. It introduces a practical, regulation-first approach to working with client "parts" without requiring IFS certification, a new protocol, or a complete overhaul of how you already work.

You'll leave with concrete tools, adaptable metaphors, and a repeatable intervention structure you can integrate into your existing practice immediately.

This is not an IFS certification. It is not a protocol for treating DID or complex dissociative disorders. It is a practical, accessible framework for general outpatient clinicians who want to work more intentionally with what clients are already bringing into the room.

CEU Information:
Captain of the Ship: A Practical Introduction to Parts Work in Clinical Practice" has been approved by NBCC for NBCC credit.  Sweary Therapy is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. NBCC Approval No. SP-5323.
